Erytheia Trinity Core Repack Release V1 for WoW 3.1.3

Erytheia is kind enough to inform me that he has made a new repack that can be used for WoW 3.1.3 and also support updating from the last Darkened Linux Trinity Core V2 release, and because he has made an excellent release i’ve decided to post his repack into the main page. (the original post can be found at forums). And so full credits should be given to Erytheia for his wonderful repack

And here are some information about Erytheia Trinity Core Repack V1:

Trinity Core:

TrinityCore2 REV 4194 (See changelog.txt because there are too many changes to be listed here)

Trinity DB:

TDB Rev 17
Lots of 3.1.x related template changes and additions for items, gameobjects, creatures …
Redone loots for creatures 0-200 and 1000-1700
NPC stats changed for new system
Data for new item_required_target-table
Updates from SD2 rev 1141 and ACID rev30
Fixes from forums, thanks to all contributors!

Framework:

Combine all Batch-Files to a big control.bat – read Readme for infos
New registration page!
ClientTools in the Registration Page – easy downgrade to 3.0.1 and connect to server.
Redirect of launcher-page and login-info of wow. Launcher can update to the supported version (3.1.3). When you want this, you must configurate apache (see tools\httpd-xampp.conf for an example). For XAMPP-User – this will be done automatic!
And the user must download the “ClientTools” (windows only) and extract the file in the wow-client-directory. The he must simple start “run_<servername>.exe” and he is connected to your realm.

With a registration page, login-area, Re-Customization, Players Online, Player Map, Item-Arsenal, Player-Arsenal, Download of the client (thanks to wow-europe, which allow this), Ticket-System (for GMs), Teleport Players to home (for GM), See Accountinfos (for GM), Remote-Access-”Console” (for GM), client tools (allows simple connection to the server, activate support for launcher redirect in the client) and much more!

Note: The homepage is under devolopment. I need testdata for adding future things (like Arena-Team-List).
Items with dynamic stats are don’t displayed (I don’t have engouth information). In player-arsenal reputation and items are missing.

ControlServer:

This little tool allows more than one user access the remote-access of the trinity realm. You can also access the “control.bat” to remote control the complete server (some functions are locked for remote access!). On the homepage login with an account with GM-Level 3 and select remote-access.

For an alternative you can use putty, by choosing raw connection.

And because Port 6832 is used, you should route this port.

Important: In order to use this. Remote Access in trinitycore.conf must be activated (port 3443, locked to 127.0.0.1)

Known Problems:

Some “spell xyz listed in spell_proc_event probally not triggered spell” – ignore them.
Readme is a little bit outdated.
Documentation of the homepage is missing.
Ulduar is empty.

If you are updating from Darkened Linux Trinity Core Repack for WoW 3.0.9 V2:

1. Backup your data first!

2. Simple run control.bat and choose “Update from Darkened Linux Trinity Core Repack for WoW 3.0.9 V2″. Follow the instruction on screen. And of course you will need a WoW 3.1.3 Client because some datas must be extracted (will take about one hour).

3. Because of a Bug in Darkened Linux trinity Core Repack for wow 3.0.9 the first two characters wich anyone are creating are lost. So first you should create two “dummy-chararacters” befor3 you go live!

New Installation:

1. Make sure you have WOW 3.1.3 Client for extracting datas!

2. Extract the archive / trinity core release you just downloaded

3. Run control.bat. When you don’t have a mysql installed, select “Install XAMPP”. Or if you prefer to install MySQL, Apache and PHP manually (XAMPP is Automatic method) you can read it from my previous post about MySQL installation, Apache with PHP Installation

4. Now select “Install Trinity”. Follow the instructions given on screen.

Important Notes:

World-Database must be recreated/rebuild – save your Custom-Content before!
This release support 3.1.3 Client. You must recreate your DBC, MAPS und VMAPS! The Database is TDB17 (UDB381), which is a “bugfix”-release for 3.1.3. In this release Ulduar is empty!

I have put days and days into crating a server on Windows and I could never get it to work. But I have an idea where to start.

You need to go into
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Open the file [hosts]

At the bottom this is what you will see

127.0.0.1 localhost

1st you need a static ip eg. 192.168.2.100
Also I am using bell-Canada your extension could be different so see you modem.

You will need to add this under 127.0.0.1 localhost

192.168.1.100 NameOfComputer.no-domain-set.bellcanada NameOfComputer

Or This

127.0.1.1 NameOfComputer.no-domain-set.bellcanada NameOfComputer

Then Save

I have never got it to working so google what I have given you. I use Linux and I recommend using Linux because it is better then Windows.

Nobody on the outside of my own network can see the site or login into the server. I Dont know if I messed up on the port forwarding, i used the ports he told me in the readme file. So i have no idea can somebody help me out please.

Hey all, I saw someone else have this issue, but no real resolution:

use Start.bat

XAMPP starts Apache and MySQL just fine.

wait for activity of TrinityRealm
ERROR: TrinityRealm has ended!
wait for activity of TrinityCore
ERROR: TrinityCore has ended!

No log files are generated. :(

I am running on Windows XP with .NET Framework 3.5 SP1

Install and extracts all went fine with no errors.

Any ideas anyone?

I would like to know if anyone could possibly help me. The installation goes perfectly right up to the point where i have to run TrinityRealm.exe. Keeps throwing a error. It says something about the application can not run properly,because the side-by-side configuration is incorrect. The TrinityRealm doens’t even start. Can anyone please help?

I’m having the same problem. OK for server machine but on client it says I dont have BC and WOTL installed even though I am patched up through 3.1.3. Says so on the initial splash screen.

Any suggestions?

My Wow client crashes around IceCrown, in the Valley of Lost hope. Everytime I find myself in the middle of the valley. Client only, Trinity Core & Trinity Realm report nothing out of the ordinary afterwards though.

Can someone help me on this?

I have TBC installed, patched all the way to 3.1.3. My server ran well except that my client says that I have no WotLK installed.

Is patching all the way to 3.x.x not enough? Where can I download an installer for WotLK? I want to try out the new death knight and northrend, I don’t wanna be stuck on TBC. Thanks.

I would just like to say that this is awesome! I have 5 people on my internal network and external that play on my server. It took about a week to upgrade from 2.4.2 to this version and we lost our previous characters, but it was well worth it. Thanks to everybody involved with getting this out and especially Erytheia for getting the slick batch file together.

Hey there, I’m new to these WoW private server stuffs, anyhow I used this repack and had it worked with my WoW 3.1.3

Just wanna clarify things, so this repack is actually:
1) Trinity core + its database
with
2) UDB (the big main database)

Wrapped up nicely by Erythiea?

Just wanna know exactly how it worked.

The errors are not caused by Erytheia, they are because Trinity Core and the database team UDB don’t work together. Basically it’s UDB just putting out what they want without caring what the core is working on, and when that happens for instance, they both tried to adjust the damage dealt be the higher level characters and since they didn’t communicate with eachother the combination of both their fixes totally nerfed the damage system. Then, once again, they both tried to fix it again and made it even worse. Erytheia has done a great job with this repack and should be commended, almost everyone is having issues with the 3.1.3 repacks right now, give them a couple months to settle into some of the fixes and then start to complain, but do it constructively on http://www.trinitycore.org or http://www.udbforums.org – But be careful for Subhuman_Bob on UDB (real prick).

As far as I know realm name can be whatever you want, mine have been varied and have not caused any problems.

It’s in the TrinityCore.Conf (edit with notepad or your choice of text editor):

Is it alright that I named Realm “ReaperX” instead of Trinity ? The instructions seemed to indicate that “Trinity” is the recommended name, but I’m not sure if it’ll have an effect on install.

Hey Everyone, I was talking to Darkened Linux and he has the new Easy Installer working! He might put together his own repack or he might just add his NEW EASY INSTALLER to someones repack. I was thinking he was going to ask Erytheia for his but I think he might create is own. I will ask him for some images so you guys can see what it looks like.

Ok I am stumped, I installed it. got it up and running.. Added accounts, BUT when I go to log in I get stuck at Hand Shaking. I have forwarded ports, and done just about everything I can think of. Please if someone has any ideas…

The file is still there, it is just moved to a subfolder (in mine its Data\enGB).

Or of course you could use the start_wow.exe you can download from the client tools link on the web server that is part of the setup listed on this page too.

It says, “Sorry this can’t be done automatic. First of all you need a WOW-client 3.1.3″

This authorizes the account only for TBC and not WOTLK

I have TBC installed. I patched all the way to 3.1.3. I installed Trinity smoothly with no errors, until when I run the server and login.

It said that “Your account is authorized for the Wrath of the Lich King Expansion, but the computer you are playing on does not contain Wrath of the Lich King data. To play on this machine, you must install the Wrath of the Lich King.”

What does this mean? Is patching all the way to 3.1.3 not enough? Do I have to buy or download the installer of WotLK? Many thanks to those that will help.
