Darkened Linux Trinity Core Repack v1 for WoW 3.0.9

As stated a few days ago on my twitter page, Darkened Linux has made a new Trinity Core repack for WoW 3.0.9 which is of course for WoW 3.0.9 only, so if you have patched your WoW installation, you need to perform a roll back in order to use this
A detailed explanation about this repack are listed below:
Trinity Core 2
Last Patch added 7777
Upgrades will be available for this pack soon, like 3.1.0.
Since there’s no upgrade function exist in order to upgrade from the last Trinity Core that was made by Oatman, by installing this you’ll lose all data on your previous Trinity Core installation, unless you choose to install it into different databases name
Darkened Linux also told me that he is currently working on making his next release to be upgradeable from Oatman’s release, so in the other words, if you choose to install this repack, make sure to install it into different databases name that the default databases name provided in the Batch Installer, while waiting for him to create an upgradeable version from the last Trinitycore repack release by Oatman
Requirements
1. You need to have MySQL Installed (how to Install MySQL)
2. World of Warcraft Client version 3.0.9 as stated earlier
3. DBC’s , VMAPS and MAPS Need to be Updated for 3.0.9 (use the vmaps, and dbc extractor included in the repack)
4. .NET FrameWork 3.5 SP1
And finally if you have all of the above installed and configured here’s the download link for the repack:

How to Install:
Please check the Reaper Trinity Installation
or a much simplified version:
1. Use the Extractors to extract the VMaps and DBC files from your World of Warcraft installation directory
2. Copy the extracted folders into Trinity Core’s folder
3. Use the Reaper-x installer to install the database
4. Edit TrinityCore.conf and TrinityRealm.conf to your liking (but make sure the databases name match the databases name used when installing via the batch file)
p.s. There is no need to edit Reaper-X installer as seen in the installing guide above.

OK so I have the server up an running NP Thanks to everyone for the great build and instructions. I don’t think I could ever ask for a better support team like the one I have here. BUT… I do need some help. I am having trouble making the server available to the rest of my lan so that my roommate and I can play. I am able to make it so others can log in but the realm list keeps coming up over and over again. I had the same issue with the last build but was able to get it fixed but unable to get it going on this one. Ive looked through the older instructions for making it public and also lan capable but they were little help with this build. Any help anyone can offer would be great. Just need a quick guide on what and where the IP address should be set. Thanks

yes, i delete the two folders of the mysql, im going for a full reinstall whit mysql 5.1 and as for wotlk i really dont know, maybe i install other version, there is a version of esMX that comes whit the usEn maybe is that i really dont know

When you uninstalled MySQL did you delete the folders defore reinstalling it?
C:\Program Files\MySQL
and
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL
Hmmm, try what I just did, disable ahbot. server is running now and no crashes… O_o No clue whay that would do it but hey, whatever works.
as for wotlk, do you have the full retail installed and it’s only at patch 3.0.9? otherwise, do you possable have a test relm install that it might be getting confused with? thats two ideas I have.
i got the same error with the crash alerts and besides i can’t log on in the game whit my xpansion 2, it keeps tell me that i dont have the xpansion wotlk, any ideas??

Hmmm… noticed something. Get the following error when trying too reinstall(new computer again) trinity.
error 1005 at line 25: Can’t Create table ‘characters.account-data’
wonder if thats an indication of a deeper issue on the new computer? if I install again over it I don’t get the error a second time… hmmmm

mysql has been reinstalled several times, even tried using server 5.0 instead of server 5.1 no luck there yet.
Working on my old comp atm, trying too make it operational again after sitting for a few months unused. hopeing this comp will cooperate better since it worked just fine with the previous releases from reaper’s website.

I dont think its the trinityscript errors that are causing your server to crash, I get the same script errors but my server runs fine. Even AHbot is working.
Have you tried re-installing MYSQL?
Hmm.. I really cant think of what the problem would be. Try looking threw the old comments on the last Trinity core release “2.4.3″ and see if anyone had the same problem.

yes, I have .net framework 3.5 sp1.
the server does actually run, but crashes after 1 minute due too the database/script errors… it stays up long enough for me too quick log in and move my toon around before it crashes.
thanks reaper(or whoever placed it at that link) My net savvy is a bit limited.

Ok, Then copy the part where there is an error.

no luck, I have 1 more thing I can try and if that fails, then it’s no server for me… Going too try resurrecting my 6 year old derelict computer that used too run reaper-x servers in the past with little problems. Poor thing is literally kept running by duct tape and some copper wire…
just realized I have MySQL server 5.1 installed, wonder if thats the issue. My old comp was running server 5.0. going too try that one instead, never know what will work.
I just tested downloading the file from Megaupload and indeed the file is password protected. And so i just sent an email to Darkened Linux to ask him to re-upload the file to Megaupload
As for the Rapidshare version, i just tested it and it works fine :)

Try reinstalling the db if that does not work, then download the newest mysql and install it. Remember to delete the 2 folders C:\Program Files\MySQL
and
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\MySQL
before reinstalling mysql. And that will fix the problem. If you do not like the fix just post your Server.log
why dnt any of the dk place have ppl and theres no dk spells
The error I’m still having is tied entirely too the Trinity scripts. It is an error dealing with missing tables in the database tied too scripts used by Trinity. The following scripts:

example_escort
example_gossip_codebox

mob_toxic_sporebat
mob_greyheart_spellbinder
boss_the_black_stalker
npc_blackhole
boss_archavon
mob_archavon_warder
could a quick fix sql file be made too fix these? sadly I don’t know which database they belong in.

no it was off. is there away u can edit the db in navicat and use that same db in the trinity core.

got it working but now when i attack a mob they dont attack and they just reheal them selfs
i got it working but when i create a character its not showing on the character selection screen but when i look at the realms it show 1 created character just cant see it or click on it to log in

you can rename the server in the tables using navicat
everything for me works, once i got some currency the screen came up, titans grip is fine, etc

How do you rename the realm so when you login you see my realm name not Reaper-x?

And can someone tell me how to get T7. I got the mammoth to work, all you need to do is dismount by clicking on the image in the top right, then you will have 1 mammoth not 2. Then you need to mod speed to make him move.

Megaupload is a little messed, there is no password but the file is corrupt. The password eveone is talking about is the spam filter, the password is a little hared to see but its there.
Reaper-x can you upload a new one to megaupload?
This one is better than Cycnus repack, but I dont know if its newer. It Probably is newer!
