After months and months without updates I finally decided to get my lazy butt down onto the chair so that I could begin to publish you guys a really nice and well thoughtout repack. This repack, has over 13,000 new features/additions since our last Reaper-X Update. Yes I know this is a 2.4.3 release, but its so stable I just had to release it! We have moved from MaNGOS to Trinity. Trinity is a core that is based off of MaNGOS and still is in sync with MaNGOS. I chose Trinity because there is a little more things fixed in Trinity than in MaNGOS. Also from the start of this revision, will be our official supported release. Meaning that we will provide updates from this revision to the future. So you guys will be able to upgrade your server without losing your character data! We will also even provide support and upgrade your characters when WotLK gets released for 3.0.8! So you can use this 2.4.3 release and whenever we update to 3.0.8 all your characters will be upgraded successfully! :D
Also, alot of the batch file was reprogrammed to make it better than ever!
REQUIREMENTS:
1. MySQL Database and the Guide on how to Install MySQL
2. World of Warcraft Client version 2.4.3
3. Updated DBC’s and MAPS Updated for 2.4.3!
DBC’s are already included as part of this release! Also if you already have the 2.4.3 DBC’s and Maps then there is no reason to extract them again.

Description:
#1 is “start locations” which alters the locations that players start, placing them into either the horde or ally mall respectively.
#2 is “gm armor” which is just that. A set of custom gm armor that’s been “overclocked” so to speak for gm use.
#3 is “allmallvendors” is the script that places all vendors for trainers, professions, weapons, armor, ect ect in stormwind and silvermoon.
You’ll need SQLYog to import the SQL Files

o.k my server works now…
But one thing doesnt work now. i set the IP in cmd, to 127.0.0.1. Now i have to set the realmlist to 127.0.0.1. i then run the Trinitycore and Trinityrealm….
then i create my account.
after that when i want to log in it says that connecting failed….

At this point with no instructios yet. You need to be able to go into navicat and edit the database.
First you need to be able to run the extract file. You must edit the extract file by right clicking on the file and then click edit. It will open a text windows up. In that window you must edit one area to look like this.
set mysqlpath=C:\mysql\MySQLServer5.0\bin
look for this line and make the chacge. Rememeber this is my path and with the majority of you this is how it will look but you need to
make sure that this is your path to your mysql.exe or mysqld.exe file is.
After you have made the changes copy your mysql folder to the root c:\ drive.
Ok your NOT done, now rename the mysql server 5.0 FOLDER to no spaces. so now you have the path c:\mysql\mysqlserver5.0\bin…no spaces. if You do not rename the folder and or move the SQL folder to the C:\ root you extract will not work.
after you have done this run the extract again and see if it works. If it does not go back through the instructions and make sure all steps apply.
To add the realm you must open Navicat and open the databast realmd and look for the folder realmlist and then open it up and add the name and ip address of your realm..or you can use the 6245 patch extract bat file and run it and configure your realm for lan party… make sure that it is the only thing you run in the old extract bat file.
When you are done with the extract now you can continue as normal with the install….edit conf files if you want, change the realmlist.wtf fiels to 127.0.0.1, create the GM account and give GM permissions and TBC access.
Oatman or Reaper if you would like I can help make a instuctions with pics if you like and then send it too you guys for approval but it would not be untill after Christmas.
When you guys use Navicat to extract the data… Do it also take long to extract the World.sql file?? Its already 5 and a half hours on. And its now about pat the first half finished…. :(:(:(
Datta – use Navicat to edit your WOW database. Go to the Realmd database and then the realmlist tables and enter all details on your realm manually into there.

Im currently using Navicat to create my Database and to extract the realmd,characters and World….
I hope it will work.

How to manually add the realm. When i start the trinityrealm.exe it says no realms specified!!!!

Nevermind, looks like I’ve got it figured out. I had to add the realm manually for some reason. Thanks again, I’ll check this one out when I wake up tomorrow!
Thanks Oatman, you rock! I’m running into a weird issue with this one. When I run TrinityRealm.exe it tells me i have no valid realms specified. Everything else seems to be working and I’ve verified that it created the needed DBs in MYSQL. Any ideas why this is happening?

I’ve been using both self-compiled and reaper repacks for a long time. I upgrade every chance… but this change to trinity core has be a bit worried.
How will characters from the arcane fire (reapers) be moved to this core?
Also, I *will* be waiting until revision 2 as I must have ahbot, my test server runs blizz-like so i have to get items from quests, dungeons, or AH. and with a severely low (4) population, AH is required for me. if you can let me know if the first question is possible, I will be grabbing revision 2 as soon as it comes out!

Anyone know how to create an acount to login yet? I tried it in the realmd database with Navicat but i go to login and it says something about password….
Is there anyway to backup characters from the Mangos database and import them into this one?
King – Your gonna have to move MySQL to the root of your hard drive, then rename the My Sql Server 5.x folder to MySQLServer5.x . Thats how i solved that error.
Also, characters are starting at level 70 even if the config file has been altered to make the starting level 1.
King make sure you have loaded SQL as well and follow the guide up above.
make sure King that you are typing the correct path to you MySQL. Should be where your mysql.exe or mysqld.exe file is.

The only place you need to take out spaces are in your my SQl path.Like this peeps….

I am going to update my batch file to support two kinds of methods of connecting to the MySQL Server.
About the AHBot, I was goign through the whole thing. Then I finally got to the point where I said, “Screw it!” I was getting close but I had already been working on this release for 4 hours straight.

That ^^ (mysqlpath=CHANGEME) i have to change. i know that. But when i change it to “C:\Program Files\MySQL Server 5.0\bin”, and then save it, and then i run the .bat file. But when i run it, it just closes in a split second. Want am i doing wrong plz??

well a week ago i downloaded a mangos noobpack for 2.4.3. so far eveything works and seems very stable. i let the server run all day even when im not playing it it has never had any errors/problems. i wonder who made it cause its awesome
When I use the installer it says he finished his job but he did nothing and if I manual install the databases it tell me that there is a scripdev table missing? Isn’t there a create stucture file?

Guys, your going to have to wait on a 3.0.x release. I have one made but I am holding it off until MaNGOS & Trinity have support for it. I had two options… To start a 2.4.3 core that was upgradeable to 3.0.x.
Or I could keep giving you cores that would wipe everytime I made a release. I chose making stable cores and eventually I will upgrade to 3.0.x. It is on its way and looks very nicely so far. So trust me, use the 2.4.3 release and in 2 weeks or so we’ll have a 3.0 release thats pretty stable. :)

Sorry about the wait guys, and sorry that its not 3.0.x but if you guys use this release it does provide support for 3.0.x when I release it. I held off cause I want to release something more stable.
