Reaper-X Trinity/MaNGOS Rev: 1 (2.4.3) (World of Warcraft)

After months and months without updates I finally decided to get my lazy butt down onto the chair so that I could begin to publish you guys a really nice and well thoughtout repack. This repack, has over 13,000 new features/additions since our last Reaper-X Update. Yes I know this is a 2.4.3 release, but its so stable I just had to release it! We have moved from MaNGOS to Trinity. Trinity is a core that is based off of MaNGOS and still is in sync with MaNGOS. I chose Trinity because there is a little more things fixed in Trinity than in MaNGOS. Also from the start of this revision, will be our official supported release. Meaning that we will provide updates from this revision to the future. So you guys will be able to upgrade your server without losing your character data! We will also even provide support and upgrade your characters when WotLK gets released for 3.0.8! So you can use this 2.4.3 release and whenever we update to 3.0.8 all your characters will be upgraded successfully! :D

Also, alot of the batch file was reprogrammed to make it better than ever!

3. Updated DBC’s and MAPS Updated for 2.4.3!
DBC’s are already included as part of this release! Also if you already have the 2.4.3 DBC’s and Maps then there is no reason to extract them again.

Description:

#1 is “start locations” which alters the locations that players start, placing them into either the horde or ally mall respectively.

#2 is “gm armor” which is just that. A set of custom gm armor that’s been “overclocked” so to speak for gm use.

#3 is “allmallvendors” is the script that places all vendors for trainers, professions, weapons, armor, ect ect in stormwind and silvermoon.

You’ll need SQLYog to import the SQL Files

I have been running this ver (2.4.3) for about 3 months, I can not get it to portforward. I get an error telling me the port is used? Is there a step by step guide like the one for the install? My two sons are in the army and would love to hook up with me. Please advise..

im having a bit of a problem. every few days, all of my players’ talents and spells reset. how do i stop this from happening???

looks like there some bug i found..
when i was in silithus n interact with npc at cenarion, then my screen locks up n just exit with eror 134.
i have tried to find the solve, but nothing i cant do. (only happen in cenarion hold npc, sometimes in shattrath)

look’s great! maybe someone can tell me how to entering raid instances without a raid group because i played it alone (i want to beat down Ragnaos or Onyxia but i cant enter their Instance because doesnt have a raid group)

hmm… it worked on the up to date version, maybe i just have to install a few update or something? Or run the game at least once. I wanted to run a server with the old school content, is that possible?

I was trying to reply to the guy that got the error message when running ad.exe

“no locales detected”

I took a look at the source code for the program. But im not sure y its not working. If anyone know could they post here?

How did you fix this? I have the same problem running the windows ad.exe and the linux ad. I’m trying it on a fresh install of wow, fresh from cd’s no expansions. Could that be the prob? Is there anywhere i can just download these files?

It works and all, but the Scripting of the npc’s around thrallmar seem not to be triggering. Unless I’m mistaken, but Martik Tor’seldori the Belf and General Krakork’s scripted speeches don’t seem to trigger. Unless they are just really spaced apart and they take a while to trigger.

Hey is there anyway to add the auction bot in this version? If not I noticed Erytheia just released a new repack. can I backup my characters so i can use them on the new one? or is it gonna be a problem with that character glitch which u need to make 2 dummy ones first or this is to old or uncompatible.

Btw i am still very new that this so if you could explain it clearly would be appreciated :)

Hey guys, I have my server working, and my website is up, but I can’t quite figure out how to get the registration page for users to make their accounts for wow. I am using this trinity/mangos 2.4.3, and the site template I am using was made for mangos, and the DB tables must have changed somewhere, but I can’t find how to link it properly, can anyone help?

I’m not looking to connect to somebody elses server, I want to keep hosting my own, offline, and am therefore looking for a repack to do so.
I briefly looked at that site and it looks like you join somebody elses server which would require me to be online to play it, which isn’t what I want.

Thanks for this great stable release Oatman. is there a trinity release available yet to convert from Reaper-X Trinity/MaNGOS Rev: 1 (2.4.3) (World of Warcraft)to a server that can serve 3.0.9 client WOTLK and keep the characters. I am very keen to upgrade my server to run WOTLK and still have all characters currently on server.

its also a forum with a Mangos 3.0.9

Its fully spawned and working DK. Its has 3 Realms. Bliz, Fun and PVP.

if u stil want ur chatacters. then use Navicat to buckup ur chatacters and account databases.

If most of the quests are broken for the dk there’s really no point in using trinity for patch 3.0.x and on yet. I’m still using mangos 2.4.3 and am loving it, and have been ever since it was released by reaper. I have a 50, a 41, a 36, and a 28 on my server. Switching to me will mean losing all that progress, so it’s not something I’m going to commit to yet. If trinity eliminates all the bugs then maybe I’ll decide whether or not to switch, and patch up of course.

Also, I did the wotlk trial on my real, yet frozen acct, and I gotta say, I’m really not all that impressed with northrend. The scenery is ok, but not as nearly impressive as azuremyst isle, or eversong woods, or zangarmarsh, or netherstorm, which are all tbc zones. So for now, I’m staying with what I’ve got.

Yes the DK starting area is spawned when using the update pack 11. But, Most of the DK starting quests are broken and the only way to get through the DK staring quest chain is GM commands.

I am sure they are working on these issues, but for now DKs still cannot be properly started.

I belive that all Northrend instances are also now spawned with update pack 11.
