Tales of Vesperia, a J-RPG for XBOX 360

Well it has been several days since i played Tales of Vesperia, and OMG … i just love this game! Because it’s been a while since the last time i played an RPG game that really makes me want to play it until the end of the game or probably play it again for the second time unlike the other RPG games on 360 (so far i’ve only played Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon)

Currently i’m on my first playthrough with around 90+ hours in game (and that’s why i’ve been offline) and at the last part of the game (i can choose to fight with the last bost but prefer not doing so) because i like doing sidequest, collecting items, etc right before fighting the last boss and actually that’s what i like on RPG. Collecting items, fight against special boss (if there’s any like Omega Weapon) and get to the max level (currently all chararacters at level 84 – 85 which is still a looong way to go before i can reach the max level of 200) :P

Generally i love most parts of this game except collecting rare items from specific monster that only appear during specific situation (for example during day or night) and the DLC that allows all characters to level up without grinding

Anyway since many sites have reviewed ToV, i’m not going into the detail about this game called Tales of Vesperia. But if you are currently searching for a good RPG games on 360 (which is rare to find) then you should get Tales of Vesperia to your collection

If only i could get myself a HD Capture card (because it’s hard to get such capture card here), of course i’d be glad to take a screenshot from the game itself directly but in the meantime feel free to check IGN Vesperia blog (although i’m not playing the Japanese version simply because i can’t read Japanese)

A mate of mine thinks the same, mainly because of the lore etc. But i like the gameplay (mainly combat) in oblivion a LOT better. in MW is was just a clickfest, whereas in Obl you also need to block etc.

Haha yeah, although im still not sure on how to get it here lol

btw the only things i like from Oblivion and Fable is you can do anything you want (be a bad guy or a good guy) :P

although to be honest, i think i like Morrowind more compared to Oblivion

Fable is good :) although a bit to easy for my likings. And that HD card seems to be worth the effort.

I’m terribly sorry for my late reply (well actually i just got back from holiday … to be exact a national holiday) :)

and yeah its knight of the nine lol, btw actually compared to the other RPG that has been released before (on 360) like Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, and Mass Effect (this one is an American RPG, an action rpg), Tales of Vesperia is much better in every aspect (based on my own opinion)

As for the reason on getting a HD Capture card :

    1. I can play on my computer
    2. I can capture anything i want from any next-gen console :D (images of course because according to Major Nelson that has an extreme computer specs, you need an extremely large free space in order to capture video)

And btw during the holiday, i’ve finished another game too (after ToV) .. and it’s called Battlefield Bad Company … and currently im playing Too Human right now (and still at level 31 in the third stage) lol

Probably i’ll write about BF Bad COmpany later :P

Sorry just recovered your comment from the spam moderation queue area (not sure on why your comment goes to spam area)

Btw … if it’s possible for you to get that card for me, just tell me how much does the shipping cost to here … (and the cheaper the better) :P

Im sorry i just recovered your comment from the spam area (not sure why too, but since it’s an automatic system it can’t tell whether it is legitimate or not), and actually i’ve finished playing Fable since .. a looong time ago (can’t remember when, but one thing for sure is i play Fable on PC) :D

Knight of the nine :p i googled Tales of veperia for some pixx, Its quite different from oblivion anyway :p to much anime for me tbh. What do you need that HD card for anyway? playing ToV on you PC?

haha yeah it’s quite expensive compared to other card because it’s not easy to find HD Capture card (so far i found 3, from Hauppage that cost around 100+ and the other one from Winfast) although unfortunately i haven’t been able to locate them here lol

as for oblivion, yes i have played and finished the main quest and quest obtained from add-on such as Shivering Isle and Knight somthing (i can’t remember the name lol) :D

what i like most in Tales series is the battle system (combo, using a spell caster, etc) :D
