I have been trying to set up my server for 2.4.2, that is the current version I have of WoW, but I can't get ad.exe to stop crashing at 41%. I run Vista. Could someone tell me what I'm doing wrong, if I need a specific version of it, or if I maybe have too much stuff in my WoW folder.. Or really simply someone have the maps for 2.4.2 >.>

i got the private server when it was 2.2.3 , how do i upgrade it and what is the new realm list for the server ?

I have wow version 2.4.2 and when i create the server and try to log on, it gives me an error that the game cannot validate the version. I belive this is due to the fact this server creates a 2.3.3 server, could someone tell me how to downgrade my wow, or where to upgrade magnos, any help would be appreciated.

and i tought of deleting them one by one...but picture this!... over 500 mob on each map... X20 ? hell no T_T would thake me days doing the hole thing whit cartogrphe :S so if somone have a patch or...anything ! i need it

works perfectly yes but.. i still got a major prolem :S it looks like in the outland ....(nagrand , hellfire , netherstorm ,blade edge and shadow moon ) there are massive spawns of mob and when i mean massive ...its amazing ..like 20 time the same mob at one spot...now i dont know if you noticed it or if its me but only zangarmarsh dont have this problem all mo are perfectly spawned :S and it hapen only in outland and i will like allso to know how to fix illidan...when he get to 50% evyone just...die when he calls the 6 eyed demons ...if somone know how to fix my problemes please contact me at a-c-lock@hotmail.com (hotmail not msn...) becuz i would love to run this server perfectly with out mob spawning geting a lil funzy thx

If the exe is missing your anti virus removed it because it thinks its a trojan. (This is waht you get for using Norton it can't tell the difference between a virus and a simple exe) AVG FOR THE WIN!

Hope I can get some help. I've just upgraded from reaper's 5225 to 5472 preparing for the release of 2.4.2 package. Everything seems fine, but when I go to log in to a character, I immediately get disconnected from server and the following message appears at the mangos>

Nvm. I got it to work. But I am currently lacking a reaper-x-mangos.exe in my folder. Anyone wanna shed some light on this. I downloaded it from the only source that didn't bug me for subscription, which I believe was MediaFire.

Ummmmmm, why is it that every site you people upload the maps and vmaps to keeps bullshitting me for "premium" access to download? I mean, isn't there a single damned free uploading site that can be used? If not, then, lol. I am currently trying to get this version to work and the only thing I am missing is the maps. Extractor doesn't work for shit, unless double-clicking it isn't the right way to iniatialize the process. Help would be appreciated on this.

WELL I JUST TALKED TO REAPER-X AND I'LL BE CODING THE NEXT COUPLE OF RELEASES AND I AM NOT SURE IF IN THE NEXT ONE I'LL INCLUDE THIS BUT I AM PLANNING ON WRITING A MANGOSD.CONF EDITOR THAT WILL BE EASY TO WHERE THE NEWB'S CAN USE IT.

ANYHOW MAKE SURE TO SPREAD THE WORD THAT REAPER-X.COM IS COMING BACK IN BUISNESS!

I don't really think that even if Reaper doesn't support your compile that it will be that big of a deal. Yeah lots of newbs on this site might really mess up their WOW servers by attempting to use your compile because it doesn't have a "Click me and your server is updated and good to go" button like Reaper's but that's their decision. I know that I'll be using your compile because it won't affect my upgrade from Reaper's previous compile to yours and then back to his next one.

Changing from Reaper's compile to yours and back to his is as easy as dumping your character and realmd databases into a backup folder and then reloading it when you upgrade. But I know that many do not explore what they can do and just stick with what their given. Please if you will can you compile a release for those of us that know what were doing and just let those that don't experiment at their own risk? Just make sure you put a warning up saying the risks and it will be fine. Thanks in advance for whatever decision you make.

Copy The Install To Another Spot On Your Pc. Although It Would Be Hard If He Releases It For 2.4.1 or 2.4 cuz if i am not mistaken the public client is at patch 2.4.2 (which mangos supports or at least ascent does even though its not the official ascent) But Apparently WotLK is At 3.0.1 or sumthing i have the downloader for it fromn the link that was leaked and shut down the last i heard of
