i am having a problem getting the server to access mysql. i have triple checked that i got the information right and yet it is denying it access.

any help would be much appreciated.

ok I tried that and I tried extacting the maps again and still the same error message comes up I checked in the maps file it had 0004331 but vmaps does not what do I do?

You need to edit your mangos.conf file where DataDir is you need to put in the quotes where the maps, vmaps and dbc files are. example C:\WoWServer\Data in that folder would be where my maps and stuff are.

ok I got just about everything going except I can’t figure out how to fix my map problem keeps saying check existing of map file ‘C:\mangos\data/maps/0004331.map’ : not exist! Correct *.map files not found in path ‘C:\mangos\data/maps’ or *.vmap/*vmdir files what do I do?

I followed everythiong through, and got up to the final realmd and mangosd part, and the mangosd says
