I used your guilde and got a server up and running wit very littel problems just got a few areas that the zone in are blank so I am walking in the air and kinda hard to port any other place but other than that the server set up is sweet,, I am gonn be working on a set of html pages to give you guys for download that will allow your friends on a Lan or Wan connection make accounts to your servers, I will be including an Admin/GM area for all of your Gm's for when you get a new Gm they can go create there own account so you wont have to. just thought you would like this peace keep up the good work. I will post the download as soon as its finished

i am having a problem....
everytime i try to open mangosd.exe it opens but then directly closes again, i tried restarting but it is still the same, could anyone help me out please

I am having a problem with all of this. the first time that i set it up it worked fine but I wanted to reset everything so I uninstalled mysql and deleted reapermangos5116 folder. I was trying to do a fresh install. I installed mysql again and it went fine.
When I try and run reaper-mangos to install, everything i do comes back with an error message that says 'mysql' is not recognized as a internal or external command, program or batch file... what am i doing wrong... how can i fix this.. I want a fresh install on everything but i tryed that and it didnt work.

does running reaper-x-upgrade.bat repair all your files? i think my creature templates are bugged

ah actually if you're upgrading from 5005 you just need to run the reaper-x-upgrade.bat in the upgrade folder :)

can someone plz simplify on how to upgrade from 5005 to 5054? i dont really understand it.

Do i re-run make-vmaps simple.bat and extract-maps.bat and the DBC stuff and all that?
Do i have to move all of my previous maps,vmpas and DBC back to where they were first? ARRGHH so many things i don know

ok i know what i did wrong. i put 127.0.0.1 dns-host-name in the hosts file under C:\Windows\System 32\drivers\etc file
i changed it to my lan ip and it works now =D. It pays to read everything (i found my answer in the configure wow for lan page)

Does anyone have an answer to why i get 2k+ latency when i connect to my online server? my friend gets around 70ms. I've tried connecting with all 3 different ip addresses, also ive made a dns address. that didnt help..... it's not my internet either, i get from 30ms to 80ms on most servers. I don't know why i get this extremely high latency. i've tried everything i know of = /
it's not my comp either ....when i set the mysql server to 127.0.0.1 it works perfectly.

this is all too frustrating lol if anyone has an answer or suggestion i'd greatly appreciate it thank you

So is the download just a mango update, ie. does it stop the unable to validate game version message?

Hey i got everything in mangos working but when i try to log into the server it says that it can not detect the client version. does anyone know how to fix this?
