Great guide btw, thanks a ton. I had one problem I can't figure out, and I've seen other comments with the same problem. When i am doing the vmap extracting, the game path is C:\World of Warcraft\Data\ when it should be C:\World of Warcraft causing an error at the end. I just can't figure out how to change the path from which it extracts. please help! thanks

can you get back to me please im having problems with the last step, ie done everything in the guide and am at the part where i set my username and password for the server, but i get this error thing in the comand prompt window about a wrong server client and too many files in a certian directory or something. if possible you can controll my pc and help me sort it out. thnx again

i have a problem where it wont let me run the ad.exe it command prompt opens and closes quickly Ive done this lots by downloading again and again the thing yet no success and i have it in the right folder help please?

it gets to 41% of extracting the maps, and cablooey goes the ad.exe =x

i copied the whole folder into my wow directory
liek ea file individually

you need to have the over relevant items with the ad.exe file otherwise it wont work

hey guys i just wanna test this stuff out every time i try to extract the maps, my ad.exe like "stops working" and i get a little stopped working message. anybody help?

the very fist few lines are imminently WRONG. "and then run extract-map.bat from your WoW installation directory " first of all, extract-map.bat is not even in the repack!!! how am i supposed to extract then?

Ahh...If you have the problem i was having just wait for a while...it will sit at the splitConfig.txt thing for a while

ive been sitting at this message for about an hour. Its when i run the vmap_SIMPLE file. and its at the very end after it says: Extract V2.4 2007_07_12. Work complete. No errors.

Then stalls here (which is where ive been for about an hour):
