anyone has the best gnome mage armor ids and how to get your riding skills up?

and where is the GM island?

  4. Reaper-X said Nov 2, 2007 at 10:58 am

    # Sully

Actually since there’s almost no change in command for 4651, i dont think i need to edit this :)

p.s don’t worry if there are significant changes i’ll update this post ;)

    # nikor

You can try using the :

.lookupc (lookup creature command to get the monster id)

    and then type

    .addspw id

    to add spawn :)

  5. Rupert said Nov 2, 2007 at 9:51 am

LOL – T set gm lvl 3 for accountname, go to the mangosd prompt and enter:

    setgm accountname 3

  6. nikor said Nov 2, 2007 at 4:52 am

    sorry for double the post
but how do i add monster spawns

  7. nikor said Nov 2, 2007 at 4:50 am

    hey reaper
i have been having fun with adding the skills that only monsters get and using them on characters and now i cant seem to be able to .learn anything any more.

hey peeps. weres the guide for the mysql installation

  11. Fritz said Oct 31, 2007 at 2:24 am

Added to above, gainning rep without having Mangos as the server isnt my own, I just play on it

  12. Fritz said Oct 31, 2007 at 2:07 am

Any idea in GM mode how one can modify reputation with factions? Scryer, etc

  13. soulreapor said Oct 30, 2007 at 12:18 pm

hey, is there any commands to increase the damage of spells and meele damage for items and etc. Also, is there a command to kill all npc that u see because .kill each monster one at a time takes WAY to long.

  14. WaveMaster said Oct 30, 2007 at 6:15 am

well there is 1 way to do it….but in order for it to work you have to have at least a few quests you can do for each faction you want rep with >_> (just incase the first one dont exalt you)

open up your mangosd.conf file and look for this

    http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/7656/repuatationcheatpr3.png

change the rate ALOT HIGHER…i had mine at 100 and i pretty much went from friendly to revered with thunderbluff doing 1 quest in thousand needles

  15. Sully said Oct 30, 2007 at 3:59 am

    ok, well idk

anyone know how to change your rep with all factions??? i dont care if its in the database or in-game but i cant figure it out

  16. WaveMaster said Oct 29, 2007 at 11:41 pm

Sully~ .delete works fine for me, otherwise illidan would still be spawned by the bloodelf tele pad in undercity

BTW, anyone else notice the mass spawning of rare/rare-elite mobs? i know the ghosts in the undead area were always like that, but i noticed when i took a shortcut from UC to the undead starting town…i had to of ran into 8 or 9 rare spawns of that white bat rassin the needler(sp?) 2 of which were right beside each other…(this was using the silvermoon db) thought that was kinda overkill >_>

  17. Erro said Oct 29, 2007 at 9:15 pm

OK, I just created my server and cant get certain commands to work. I got the .levelup and .lear all_myclass to work, but stuff like .lookupitem and such arent working for me…can someone please help me out?? I would greatly appreciate it.
    Erro

  18. Hip-Hop said Oct 29, 2007 at 3:55 pm

Reaper please tell me how you made it flying in Azeroth (Silvermoon). When I try it says only in Outland. Please tell me how you make that!

  19. Sully said Oct 27, 2007 at 8:43 am

    its .del
    not .delete
    to delete a spawn

  20. WaveMaster said Oct 26, 2007 at 6:34 pm

KK~ just like sully said click on the mod you dont want and type .delete and it will no longer spawn there

and yes! the rep thing i posted before works, i put it at 100 and went from like 400 in friendly to about halfway though revered just doing 1 quest

  21. J. J. Roddy said Oct 26, 2007 at 1:08 pm

    @ Moonchild

    2. You can level your profession by first looking up the skill number (.lookupskill enchanting) and then typing .setskill 333 375 375 (.setskill SKILL_NUMBER LEVEL MAXLEVEL)

  22. J. J. Roddy said Oct 26, 2007 at 1:02 pm

    @ Sully & Nick

There is table called game_event where are can you found times of start and end of each of the events available to you. Just change date and it should work.

  23. Sully said Oct 26, 2007 at 7:59 am

    @nick

yeh i want that too, but i think it does it by server date (just stop mangos, change your server date and time) and whatever event it made for that date will be used

i dont know if this is true, but its worth a shot

  24. Sully said Oct 26, 2007 at 7:57 am

you need to delete him, i think its .delete

    but idk

  25. KK said Oct 26, 2007 at 6:55 am

srry..what i mean is i killed him in the goldshire area..and now he respawns there..anyway to get rid of him,?

  26. KK said Oct 26, 2007 at 6:42 am

okay..so i was having some fun and i (i think it is)
.addspw [ragnaors id] did .die and it was all good and fun, this was in the gm area, now evreytime i go back to that area..he respawns, is there anyway to get rid if him?

  27. WaveMaster said Oct 26, 2007 at 1:33 am

    ~To everyone asking about rep~

i havent tried it yet (because i just found it when changeing around my server rates) the mangosd.config file you can open with notepad, i was reading though and i found a part in it that said:

    # Reputation Gain rate
    # Default: 1
    Rate.Reputation.Gain = 1

i think if you change the number higher…you will end up getting more rep per quest….though i havent tried it yet

hey Reaper, ive got a couple of issues that i cant find solutions for on any forums… at least not any ive seen

    1. if i want to up my rep with say skyguard, is there a way to do it ingame? instead of having to edit the db directly

    2. is there a way to bring up profession skills? like lets say im at 1/300 tailoring… can i just put in a command to lvl it to 300? or even edit the db, i was unable to find anything with that data in my db

    3. everything else seems to be running great… thanks for great manuals n comps :)

Hi man, nice list and nice guides :) one thing i wonder about tho is deleting objects, it works perfectly in the world, just .targetobject then .delobcject ###

But in instances this dont work, i try to delete for example the scarlet door in Stratholme, and it says that the object cant be found.. do you need to do something special in instances?

    Cheers

  45. Evilbob said Oct 19, 2007 at 5:10 pm

Oh my god. This is a great guide. I also used your guides for setting up MangOS and I have to say it is sooo much easier now than the last time I used MangOS (Pre TBC).

I can now play WoW in the office on my local server and fiddle around with stuff to my hearts content.

  46. B said Oct 19, 2007 at 11:04 am

ok thanks gonna try that now

  47. Meatmod said Oct 19, 2007 at 4:55 am

There used to be a command called .come to use on creatures. This would make them walk towards your position. Is there anything similar to this command or any way I could implement it?
    Was great for making Machinimas…
