Amazon Unbox for Associates, are you going to use it ?

I just received an email message from my Amazon Associates account today which looks like this :

Dear Amazon Associate:

The Associates program is excited to announce that Associates can earn 10% in referral fees on Amazon Unbox Video Downloads! Now you can take advantage of the online video craze and present your customers with a downloadable offering for the hottest videos, and receive the highest referral rate possible on every sale

What is Amazon Unbox ?

Amazon Unbox is a video download store that has thousands of high quality TV shows, movies and more for you to purchase or rent. You can view these downloadable videos on your PC, your Portable Media Player, or your TiVo DVR. In addition, Amazon Unbox stores a copy of all purchased videos in an online storage locker for re-download at any time. So, videos do not have to eat up hard drive space, and no matter where you are you can download and play your videos

Unbox on Tivo

Unbox videos can now be downloaded directly to TiVo DVRs! Using Amazon Unbox’s unique RemoteLoad feature, consumers can now remotely load their TiVos with purchased or rented movies and TV shows—no more trips to the video store!

Because the videos are still purchased on the Amazon.com website, this represents a great way for Associates to take advantage of the large number of Tivo DVRs already in use. Earnings from Unbox

Associates are eligible to earn 10%, 1.5% above the highest earnings tier, on all Unbox referrals (up to $1.50 per item). There is no limit to the number of items on which referral fees are earned

While personally i do not get much luck from my Amazon Associates account, i think i should try this one (but we’ll see about that later because im still in doubt whether the Amazon Unbox can bring additional income to my pocket). As a side note, i'm interested on hearing your personal experience whether you can really make money using your amazon associates account or not :)
