Top reason why readers unsubscribe from your blog

Darren Rowse post another useful reading material about 34 Reasons Why Readers Unsubscribe from Your Blog such as :

  • Infrequent Posting (or the blog is effectively dead)
  • Partial Excerpts Feeds
  • Blog Changes Focus (too much off topic posting)

Which is not a problem for me :P … because Infrequent Posting does not mean that blog is dead unless they do not write anything for more than 1 month … while Excerpts Feed also does not bother me because i like blogwalking or visiting the news source directly (so always count me in as your unique visitors) .. as for too much off topic posting  .. well i’ve seen various blog which is talking about Technology, Making Money related topic, etc often write something else too on their blog (but their subscribers numbers are still high) ..

and like Robert Scoble said :

do what you love, put stuff up you’d love to read, and the rest will fall into place.

So what is the point of posting this ? actually I just want to share my opinion about the last part (see the bolded area), and that’s why i'm adding Whatever to this blog description so if there’s a subscriber(s) to this blog, i can not be blamed if i write off topic material like this for an example :P
