AdVolcano a New Monetization Alternative

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Advolcano is another monetization alternative for your website especially to those who’s already using another ad service and want to ensure maximum compatibility with the current ads placed on your website

My first impression about this new service are this new service could be useful to anyone who own a website and want to sell their ad space without waiting to be accepted into their program (maybe they’ll change it in the future but we’ll see about that). And what makes it better, you can set your own price for each ad zone on your site or you can also say it's like AdBrite ad with the exception there’s no contextual ad from AdVolcano

Other than that AdVolcano is quite useful, to those who live in Country where there’s no paypal option available, or your paypal account can only send money not receiving money. Because they pay you using a pay check not using paypal or any other online payments option

And here’s the features of advolcano for publishers :

  • Set your own prices - Unlike other networks, AdVolcano allows you to set your own pricing. After all, it is your website.
  • Custom ad sizes - Control all aspects of your ads and seamlessly integrate them into your website.
  • Great payouts - AdVolcano pays a generous 75% revenue-share on a NET 15 basis. Receive your checks on time, all the time.
  • Advertiser Screening - Protect your brand and audience by controling which advertisers run on your site at all times.

Unfortunately, there’s a downside to this new service .. and i think you’ve already guessed it by now .. yes .. there’s no advertisers (or at least i haven't seen any) even on the really top site from all categories. And i’ve seen several publisher also dropped the advolcano code from their site completely. Well i do hope they don't end like Performancing Partners

And as a last note, they gave you a javascript code and css code to be inserted at your page (your ad zone to be specific) .. just in case you’re wondering what kind of code they gave you when you’re using their service ;) .. and that’s all about AdVolcano
