VLC Media Player 0.8.6 Released

For those that didn’t know / never heard anything about VLC (Quoted from their page) :

VLC media player (initially VideoLAN Client) is a highly portable multimedia player for various audio and video formats (MPEG, DivX, Ogg, and many more) as well as DVDs, VCDs, and various streaming protocols. However in recent years it has also become a extremely powerful server to stream live and on demand video in several formats to our network and the Internet.

The easiest way to say it is … by using VLC you don’t have to mess with your system configuration just to play your multimedia files because everything will be done by VLC. Everything you need to play your multimedia files already included in the VLC Package.
