Winrar 3.62 Released

WinRAR is a powerful archive manager. It can backup your data and reduce size of email attachments, decompress RAR, ZIP and other files downloaded from Internet and create new archives in RAR and ZIP file format

Winrar 3.62 has been released, this release mainly contain bug fixes from the previous version of winrar, and here’s the changelog for 3.62 :

• stack overflow vulnerability has been corrected in WinRAR module processing 7-Zip archives
• WinRAR GZip module could set a wrong file date when unpacking GZip archives

Personally i prefer to use 7zip because it's free and also provides better compression in several case although the rar compression speed is much faster than 7zip compression
