Hello guys...

First believe me i have been trying to find a solution to this error for a LONG TIME.. and at last i got it.. I TAKE ABSOLUTLY NO CREDIT FOR MYSELF... I got this solution from the staff of Windows Live Messenger.. I just want to help you guys to find it..
This solution is for VISTA users... ONLY...
I will copy and paste the rest from the reply i got from Live support.. Here It Is...
If you are using Windows Vista, disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature: a. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click Command Prompt and choose Run as administrator.
b. Click Continue when Windows requests permission to continue.
c. At the command prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER: "netsh interface tcp set global autotuninglevel=disabled"
Note This command disables the Window Auto Tuning feature.

After you disable the Auto Tuning Networking feature, verify if you are able to sign into Messenger.

THIS WORKED FINE FOR ME AND I JUST WANTED TO HELP... again i take no credit for myself..

Hi!

I hope someone can help me. I got a new broad connection. I get the error 81000306, but I can not load https sites such as hotmail and my university either.

I talked to my ISP, they told me to get TCP optimizer, done it. Then they said it was my firewall. I told to Norton, the technician via remote un-installed the whole program. It still did not work. I chat with the service support of my computer, HP, just in case it was something from my computer. We went all over. Nothing. My ISP says that they do not have any filter in their side. I have tried all the advices that I have been finding in internet. No luck.

I would really appreciate some help.

Thanks
