Finding Someone else Online

I’ve been experiencing this for the third time, and it’s all about finding someone else online (especially girls) and in the end they always mad at me .. and as you might already knew that if you put something on the internet, there’s a chance someone might find you. Even if you don't want them to find you, there’s always a way to find it online, especially if you put your personal information such as photo, name, etc on public website that almost everyone know.

And here’s some tips on how to find someone online :

Search in public profiles

If they’re using free email service from Yahoo, Hotmail / Livemail, AOL, etc … there’s medium percentage you can find them easily by going into their profiles directly, for example Yahoo Profiles and AOL Members Profile and if you’re lucky, you can see their photo without problem, but to make sure it’s the correct person, try looking at their favorite link too. And if you saw link to some porn site, then they’re just put someone else picture on their profile (unless they’re a porn star of course).

Check social networking website using their e-mail address

Well .. if they’re a girl, there’s high percentage you can find them easily using the power of Social Networking website such as Friendster (if they’re in ASIA) or MySpace (if they’re in USA) and if you need to search for favorite social networking site in other region, you can find it easily using Alexa, by going into the top 500 accessed site by country, and you can find each country / region favorite social networking website easily. As for searching a guy .. try using your imagination, because i'm not interested on looking at a guy photo :P

Use major search engine

First you must do some research about their nickname, email address (i assume you already know it), their name, etc .. and if you have this information on your hand, you can use it to search for their profile using Google, Yahoo, MSN, and hopefully if all goes well for you … you can find it easily. Btw this is just the extended version of the first method, so you can always this method directly without using the first method. As long as you know a lot about search engine query operator.

Use Specific Web Site

Well .. if search engine can't find them or they’re giving you ton of result, then it’s the time to use specific web site dedicated to search for someone address, phone book, etc .. and here’s the list :

And there’s a lot more, just use your imagination and your searching skill, although i don't use this last method because .. there’s no need for me to search for someone else telephone number. I just want to see their face :P .. some information about them .. etc

Also, please be note, if you’re searching for someone else, there’s high chance they might get mad at you, if you tell them directly (especially girls) although you didn't do anything wrong.

So today lesson is if you don't want someone to find more about you online, then you shouldn't put your information on the web at the first place .. or the easiest way is by putting fake information about you …
