The Sims 1 Memories

I didn't know that my created house for the sims 1 game that i’ve uploaded to the sims resource a looong time ago are still there (i don't know if it's available for download or not) .. even those files available for download to anyone, no one going to download it because my design was really bad (well i'm not good at graphical and design stuff).
But the most important thing is .. no one play the sims 1 game anymore .. :P .. by the way if you want to see my design, just click here .. but let me remind you, my the sims 1 house design is really bad .. :( .. (actually i want to put the picture here by simply linking into it, but i don't think it's a good idea) :P

Hey, I've the sims 1 and 2. But let me tell ya that, I do still play sims 1 (sometimes) b'cuz I created a family that became popular in my family. And also because I created a great house too.
if only i still had the sims1 installed on my comp, i'll definitely try your house too :D
Will sims1 work with windows vista?
Im not to sure about it since i dont have vista :(
Frankly speaking, I'm playing the Sims 1 now, and I'm using VERY GOOD Skins, especially Anime skins that heighten up play. Looking at my perfect Digimon Renamon character strutting around and a perfectly designed Rikku girl from FFX playing with Sephiroth... brings goosebumps.
In my opinion, having played a little bit into The Sims 2, I got disinterested. The aging also kills the gameplay- if you're into the Custom Skins. But meh, I'll give the Sims 2 a try, but I will be adamant, the sims 1 was the best, even for its time. The Sims Online really should continue- they took it down last february. That sparked global protest- and that's how popular the sims 1 is.
kickmykitty, I have Vista, so to speak. It's my aunt's computer, and I will have to convince her to install the sims just to test it.
I'm pretty sure it'll work... unless you're planning to use No CD cracks. But seriously, The Sims original should be freely distributed by now in order to keep up its popularity. The Sims 1 should be on every laptop of children in the "one laptop per child" scheme by the government...
