Do you Meebo ?

Well if you don't know about Meebo, here’s a brief explanation about meebo, quoted from the meebo page itself :

MeeboMeebo is a web based IM that lets you log into your IM networks from any computer with a browser and internet connection with no firewall issues. It employs technologies (like AJAX) to make it act more like a desktop application, which dramatically improves usability. Many users enjoy the benefits of a native DHTML application, as it does not consume as many system resources as a Java applet (such as ICQ2Go or Yahoo Web Messenger)

Okay i think you’ve got the basic idea of meebo, and it the other words, meebo is a web based instant messaging application. And of course there’s no need for you to install other various instant messaging application on your computer like Gaim, Trillian, Miranda. Although at first i doubt that your password secured with them, but after using it several times. I think meebo can be trusted. And as a side note, i already switch from using Gaim into Meebo completely since i know about meebo few months ago. So leave the old instant messaging application on your computer and switch to meebo.

the concept is good to me as i can technically chat with my blog readers when i place my meebo in my blog, but being a horribly outdated dial-up user it's so pointless for me to have it in my blog because i'm forever not able to connect to that damn thing despite being online. -_- i much prefer a chat box in this context.

First of all, this is a big surprise to see an active wordpress.com forum user came to my blog (other than timethief of course) :D

and actually i dont like meebo placed on blog because its almost useless for dial up users, but if it used as a replacement for instant messaging application, this is what i called a new feature because i was bored of using local instant messaging application (dunno if dial up are going to use meebo as a replacement program for Yahoo Messenger/Google Talk/ Aim/ MSN Messenger )

and thanks for visiting here sulz ;)
