Adsense Tips, is it Worth Reading or not ?

I’ve been wondering this for a while because almost everyday i saw adsense optimization tips and tricks which is available freely on the internet for everyone to read. And what make myself curious is they always said the same optimization technique like ads placement, blend the adsense color with your website color, etc. And only small of them tell you to get traffic first in order to get the best from your adsense.

Well althought i haven’t bought any adsense related book regargding it’s optimization tips, technique, best ads placement, etc. I think that’s useless to buy a book like that beside i don’t care to read ebook about adsense too, because if it’s for me what makes your adsense perform well on your site is your site traffic. Why ? because no matter what unique content you wrote on your website, if your site doesn’t get lots of visitor daily, then there’s no way you can get more money simply by placing adsense on your site. So instead of trying to use adsense on your site, just keep on writing until you get a minimum of 100 - 200 unique visitors per day.

Some people said that more traffic for your site is good but if they don’t click on your ads then there’s no way you can make money from your site. And i agree with them, althought that’s depend on your site too, if your site targeted to computer / technical minded then you won’t get alot of money daily because most of them already know about adsense and they are not going to click on your ads, except it showing a really interesting stuff to be clicked.

As for blending your adsense ads with your website, it’s a really simple thing to do and it shouldn’t be called an optimization tips. Because if you’re a webmaster / webmistress and doesn’t even know about blending your ads color with your site color, then there’s no need to use adsense. And i don’t want to go into detail about this matter because every webmaster / webmistress already know about it.

And about the best ads size for your site, don’t you ever think that best performing ads size on other site will perform well on your site too. And that’s because every site design is unique, unless you want to copy their entire website. So instead of keep talking about ads size the best thing to do is try using ads that match with your site design … and that’s a simple thing to do like blending ads color.

As for the other stuff i think most webmaster / webmistress already know about it. But this is just my own opinion, because i had enough with new site talking about adsense tips and tricks that is talking the same tricks over and over again copied from other website.
