Review of Zoundry a Freeware Weblogging Client Program

Okay this is my second post using a new 3rd party weblogging client program called Zoundry, although i've been trying several Freeware weblogging client program. I think this is the best one, beside it gives you ability to insert xhtml tags like strike, etc easily without editing the source code first unlike other several third party weblogging client application. Althought i really like this program, unfortunately there's several disadvantages withing this program but it'll be better if i wrote about the advantages and disadvantages of this program to be fair

The first thing is about Zoundry disadvantages and my own suggestion :

1. You cant add custom ping service list by yourself, and i've tried several times trying to find the exact location of the ping update services list within this program with no luck
2. Inability to create / generate post excerpts and this is the most used feature on other 3rd party blogging client program
3. Always trying to update the favorite icon from various website like Technorate, Delicious, Flickr, Icerocket, etc because Zoundry used it for the tagging options, if it's for me it'd be better not to use any of Favorite Icon because it's useless
4. Can only use one FTP Account to store your images, and if you own blog on different server you can only use one of your FTP server, and it'd be better if you can choose separate FTP account for separate blog you own. But if you just want to put it on your blog directly (for example using wordpress.com service) then there's no need for you to worry about this stuff
5. Inability to create custom markup like acronym or abbr so it can be easily used with just a click of button or by right clicking

And the advantages of Zoundry is :

1. Ability to check your markup so there's no need to worry about Failed Validation from W3C
2. Able to tidy your markup to remove unnecessary XHTML markup
3. Ability to auto Replace for common spelling mistakes (this is the most used feature by me other than Post Excerpts)
4. Common XHTML markup like this can be used easily by clicking on the toolbar so there's no need to edit the XHTML markup manually
5. Fully support Wordpress, and that's the main reason i choose this program
6. WYSIWYG editor and able to edit the source code manually (although similar weblogging client program already support this feature too)
7. And many other standard features of third party weblogging client program / application

Well that's about it, and despite lack of some functionality i still like this program.
