Google Apps for your domain

After my domain has been verified by Google, i can use their Google Apps Service and . But for those who didn’t know about it, here’s short description about Google Apps for your Domain.

Google Apps is a new feature offered by Google so that you can use your own domain name as part of their service like GMail, Google Talk, Google Calendar, Google Page Creator / Personalized Homepage using your own domain name, your own logo and your own description. Although i’m only using the Email features because i get a 2GB Storage space in all of email account created using my domain name (and that’s a good news because i don’t have to worry about space again instead of using my own email server)

In order to get this feature, you must own a domain name first, and must verify that you actually own that domain name. But if you already has a domain name, you can go to Google Apps page to apply as a beta users and if you get accepted that means you can use their service for free even if the beta stage of this program already passed as stated by Google at their page like this

Organizations accepted by Google during the Google Apps for Your Domain beta period are eligible for free service for their approved beta users even beyond the end of the beta period, as described in the Terms of Service.

Hopefully it’ll stay free for me as long as i’m using their service .. :P .. anyway just in case you want something free too like me, you can always go to their page directly and see if they accept you or … not .. Btw just in case you want an email address using yourname@reaper-x.com , you can ask me because i have enough stock of that address .. and of course it’s powered by Google
